God Shows His Holy Presence

God showed His holy presence to the people of Israel. He has shown His presence supremely in the Lord Jesus Christ. We do not "break through" to Him. He "breaks through" to us.

Israel Receives Directions for Meeting with God

Just as the people of Israel had to be consecrated to come before the LORD their God, so we must be consecrated to meet with our God. As Moses was the consecrator for Israel, so Christ Jesus is our Consecrator. He makes us ready to come into God's presence.
